Are You Dreading Your Next Task?

Reflection drill: A thing begun is a thing half done. When faced with an unpleasant task, either begin with the easy part to build momentum, or do the most difficult part first to get yourself over the hump.

Why it matters: Do it now & get it gone …

When confronted with an unpleasant problem or task, deal with it immediately instead of wasting time worrying about it. This will free up your attention, and allow you to be more productive with the time remaining .

Thinking drill:

What unpleasant problem or task will you confront this way today?

What have you been putting off that you could work on for even 10 minutes right now?

What unpleasant chores could you rotate among your co-workers?

What’s your take away?
